OK, we've been really low key about this for the past week while we worked out the kinks. The funny thing is you all have been discovering it anyway. Sneaky people. HA.

So, we figured it's time to make a real, live announcement.

Ta-dah! The new StoryPeople site is live & working pretty darn well. (Which, if you know anything about technology, is a MIRACLE...)

Of course, the real point of our new site is to make it easier for you. To make it easier to see the stories & the things we're all up to & the stuff that's totally new. Yay!

Like the all new wrist wraps that you can customize by choosing your own colors, in leather or the vegan cork. Or go farther & customize them by picking your favorite story & your favorite color & your favorite material & as long as you're on a roll, asking us to sing a song to it when we pack it & ship it to you. (OK, to be fair, we do that a lot of times already. Humming to ourselves while we pack...:-))

Or like this year's holiday ornaments. (Notice how we just slip that in here like it's no big deal. But it is. It's a REALLY. BIG. DEAL.) Every year we do a limited amount of holiday ornaments & every year we sell out way before you're ready to be done. This year, we've actually had a few people who've been calling since May (don't worry, Sharon. We won't tell them who it is. Wait a minute. We meant...umm...Natalie. Yeah, Natalie. That's who's been calling...:-)) wondering when we were going to have this year's ornaments ready. They're ready, Sharon. Drop in any time.

Anyway, drop in & check out the new site. A lot more pictures. A whole new blog section for when we get inspired to write more than an email now & then. A whole new section called Stories & People that's all about you & how the stories show up in your life. (Just a note: if you send us letters & photos, we'll do our best to put them up there. Woo hoo!)

P.S. Those of you who've already seen the new site know we lost some stuff, too. Like:

1. The old accounts. We tried our best, but we just couldn't get them all transferred. So, you'll have to create a whole new account on your first visit. Consider it an opportunity to become an even better you. (We hope that helps, but it probably doesn't. Sigh. But at least it only takes a minute, or two & then you're done...)

2. Your favorites. We sent out a notice that if you wanted to keep your favorites, it'd probably be a good idea to go to the old site & send an email to yourself. Then we sent five follow-ups in the story of the day. We tried. For those of you who did that, yay you! For those of you that didn't, we're sorry. But it gives you a chance to find a whole new bunch of favorites. (Yeah. We know that doesn't help much either. We're sorry...)

3. E-greetings. This was the biggest thing we lost. There was just no way we could get it to transfer. So, instead of staying up drinking energy drinks & talking at five times our normal speed while we tried to make it work, we went a whole different direction. It's still a secret, so don't tell anyone, but we're working on a StoryPeople app for iphones & Android. Right. Now. You'll be able to send stories to your favorite people direct from there. We're not far off on it, so stay tuned. We'll let you know...
