9:30am - Worship & Christian Education  10:30am - Fellowship  11:00am - Traditional Worship

Worship this week - October 19th
This Sunday, Dr. Helsel's sermon is titled "Reviving Your Concern," based on Philippians 4:10-23. In Paul's final words to the church at Philippi, he thanks them for their faithful support of his ministry, and assures them that he knows the secret of living in plenty and in want. Dr. Helsel will explore some of the ministries this church supports, and we will consider together: what are our deepest concerns as individuals and as a congregation?
Stewardship Campaign

2015 Stewardship Pledge Cards have been mailed. The special letter has an original artwork from 8-year-old Caleb Helsel. The drawing on the letter is based on Caleb's interpretation of the letter's message, and it also represents how each of can make a contribution to this church-no matter our age or ability. Plan to return your pledge card to the church on or before October 26th. Please let the office know if you have not received yours yet. There will be extra pledge cards available at the church for those who need another.

Main Event Scheduled

October 24th at 7:00pm

A representative from Parmenter Home Care & Hospice will be joining us and discussing how Advance Care Planning is a process. It takes time. It requires an understanding of care options, intimate conversation, quiet reflection and thoughtful choices in seeking to improve the honoring of wishes for care at end-of-life through outreach and engagement. This written plan is known as Advance Care Directives - and is shared with loved ones and healthcare providers, choices for care are more likely to be honored, stress is reduced and, ultimately, health care is delivered more effectively.

New Beginnings Session 6 and Final Wrap-Up

On October 26th, we invite everyone to join in the final session after worship. All are welcome in these final discussions. There will be a single worship service at 9:30am to allow time for the discussions and 4th Sunday Brunch.
