 2014 / 2015 Co4NU Memberships

Are you looking to be ready for July and the new membership season?  The 2014 / 2015 Coloradans for Nebraska membership is now available to be ordered in our online store.  Membership runs from July to July. Membership Cards are now being sent to those that have renewed or have become members.
 
With Membership you receive discounts at our watch partner locations, member only pricing at Co4NU events, entry in member only drawings, and more.

Call for Volunteers

Hello Everyone,

My name is Richard Wilson.  I was born and raised in Morrill, NE.  I attended Chadron State College.  I am a diehard Nebraska fan.  The 2014 / 2015 Football Season is upon us.  I wanted to reach out to each of you, the Coloradans for Nebraska members, and let you know that I will be the new point of contact for Watch Site Volunteers.  I will be working with the volunteers to setup a schedule of who will be at what Watch Partner Location throughout the season.  

I cannot emphasize enough how important it is that we have volunteers at as many sites as possible.  Without volunteers, Coloradans for Nebraska will not be able to maintain our goals to keep sponsoring young adults from Colorado in the quest to further their education by attending the University of Nebraska.  With the help of you, our members, for each of the last 4 years we have helped to provide over $40,000 each year in scholarships.  Can we reach that goal or more for the 2015 / 2016 school year?

Will you please consider volunteering for a watch partner location?  We will be working to staff with volunteers specific locations first to ensure resources are used the best way possible.

During the football season, watch partner locations will have the game and sound on in dedicated areas of their establishment whenever possible. When volunteers are present, these locations will also hold special activities as well as have Co4NU memberships and merchandise for sale, will be available to collect donations for the scholarship fund, and more.

Radio Partnership            
  
To allow Coloradans for Nebraska to focus on scholarship fundraising, we have been partnering with Mark Knudson for the last several years so Husker Football is on the radio.  To make this successful, businesses are always welcomed to contact Mark to discuss advertising opportunities and partnerships.

Mark is working with Mile High Sports Radio this year which will include stations FM 94.1 Denver, AM 1550 Denver and FM 96.9 in Boulder. For more reach, he is also working with a northern Colorado FM station, FM 102.9 KARS. It's a very strong signal that will cover from Thornton up to Laramie.  This should work out very nicely, DAY and NIGHT for the Denver, Boulder, and the Northern Colorado Areas.

Party in Fresno

If you are planning on going to Fresno for the game on Saturday, September 13, 2014, get to know other chapters by attending an event hosted by the Bay Area Huskers at Buffalo Wild Wings located at 3065 E Shaw Ave in Fresno.  This event will begin when Buffalo Wild Wings opens at 9:00 A.M. and will go on throughout the day and game.  The Bay Area Huskers want to see your Husker and Chapter pride so please wear one of your Coloradans for Nebraska shirts or order yours today!
