Hello pretty girls!

We had one crazy week!  In the past week we had the Friday night 5K, our first Mock Tri,  Angels in Action Nutrition Lecture and last night was Pique Nique en Blanc! This June Gloom and erratic weather, consistently tests my patience. One thing for certain... I will not allow my daughters to get married in June.

Thank you to everyone who volunteered, participated and cheered us on for the Friday Night 5K.  I loved seeing all of the first time medal winners and congrats to Jen, Laura and Ally who took uno, dos, tres.   Here are the results for the 5K!

A few days later we had about 60 women jump off the Cape May Lewis Ferry and 80 members jumped into Raccoon Valley Pool for the Mock Tri.   It was a gorgeous weekend for all of our events!
Last night we our first (and I am sure not our last) very successful Pique Nique En Blanc.  It was amazing to see 200 people head to toe in white.  Setting up their picnic tables, laughing, talking and  then dancing, dancing, dancing.   Thank you to Traci Hoolihan who has an amazing eye for the finest of details and Lydia DelRosso who never gives up on an awesome idea.  It was an amazing night!

The weather has been very uncertain and causes utter havoc on our lakes and streams.  As a result it affects water quality.   Due to extreme runoff  we weren't able to swim in lake Gilman last week.  Unfortunately, the water is still not completely clean and it is affecting our Mock Tri tomorrow.  It will still happen, but sadly we can not swim. For more information on water quality in our lakes and rivers please click here

Mock Tri:  Saturday, June 14 @ 9:00 am.  Mock Triathlon #2.  Lake Garrison - 849 Buck Road, Monroeville NJ.  This will now be a 1 mile run, 12 mile bike, 2 mile run.  I am equally disappointed that we can not swim, but you need to be prepared as this could happen during a real triathlon.  It has happened to me THREE times!  Water safety is very important.  We will have celebratory mimosas after the Mock  Tri!  Hope to see a bunch of you there.  Sign up on our web site under SIGN ME UP.

Color Run:  The Color Run is also tomorrow at 8:30 am at Kingsway High school.  This is NOT timed and all fun, so please spread the word!  Lori Hartnett is still looking for a few volunteers.  Race Day Registration will be accepted!   Click here for more information

Babysitting:  Please remember that we have tri-club babysitting for our workouts.   This is a great service our Teen Tri Girls are offering to club members.  Click here for Tri Club Babysitting.

Ride the Farm:  Ride the Farm will be held on Saturday, July 12th.  This is one of our HUGE events that everyone loves.  The start and end is at Monroeville Winery with three farm stops in between.  The cost is $5 which includes a wine tasting.  Various time slots are available to sign up and each member can bring one guest.  Sign up sooner than later because this will fill up quick. Ride the Farm Sign Up

iCAN Ride:   I must have received at least 8 emails from different people about this "mission"... so it must be very important.  I looked into and indeed it is!  During the week of June 23-June 27 there will be an iCAN Ride bike program.  This simply teaches individuals with disabilities how to ride a bike. It is at Riverwind's Community Center and they need  VOLUNTEERS to help.  There are various two hour time slots available.  Please contact Vicki Walters @ [email protected] to sign up to volunteer.

Free Pink Shirts-    Only about half of you have picked them up.  I will have them with me at the Mock Triathlon tomorrow and then leave on my front lawn until Queen of the Hill. for pick up.  110 Cromwell Drive, Mullica Hill NJ. After Queen of the Hill they will not be available.

[email protected]

Swim Suits/Wet Suits/Bags/Goggles: Please direct any questions about these items to Jennifer Wolfinger.  She can be reached at [email protected]

Queen of the Hill- My gosh... It is TWO WEEKS away. This is serious crunchola time for us.   Michelle can be reached at [email protected] We promise you will loooooooooooove this Triathlon.

Wild Wed at Rode's- Our next No Shower Happy Hour Wild Wed is on Wed, June 18th after our 6:30 pm Rode Ride. As always and with all of our rides... stay right, pass left. Ride Single file except to pass. Laugh, Smile and Love it.

This email is getting way too long but Jennifer Wolfinger is starting up a "volunteer/cheer" section for the Princeton 70.3 Half Ironman.  I am going to include all of the information in my next email!!!  I need more hours in a day... don't we all?
