Help Students Learn the Web!

Mozilla recently launched a two-month long "Maker Party" celebration to promote web literacy and internet learning for youth to be successful in careers in the 21st century. This year the event is held from July 15 to September 15, 2014. Take a look and see if this is something you might integrate into a summer program at your school next year.

Maker Party is Mozilla's global campaign to teach the web. Through thousands of community-run events around the world, Maker Party unites educators, organizations and enthusiastic web users with hands-on learning and making. Through interactive and hands-on activities that explore the digital world, the Maker Party will increase web literacy, therefore training today's youth to be fluent and proactive in the digital age.
