Dr. McIvor's sermon is "The Other Pentecost" based on John 20.19-23. The Book of Acts tells how the Holy Spirit came upon the first disciples on Pentecost with the sound of rushing wind, and divided tongues as of fire appearing among them and resting upon them. However, John's Gospel tells how the Spirit was breathed upon the disciples on the evening of Easter Sunday. We might call this the "other" Pentecost and it's all about receiving Christ's peace and sharing Christ's peace.

Special Christian Education Planning Meeting
The Education Team would like to invite kids and parents to a planning session on Sunday, immediately following the worship service.
We will discuss Christian Education for the fall including plans for Confirmation Class. We will also lay out the foundation for the summer 2015 Philippines mission trip (details and timeline) so that tentative participants can be identified by next month. Please contact Matt Crane with questions.

Worship at Wingate - Change of Date
Please join us June 8th at 1:00pm as we minister to God's "older children". Due to Father's Day, we moved our regular service up one week. Volunteers are always needed. Remember, the number of Wingate folks who get to attend worship is directly dependent upon the number of PCIS folks who are able to help out. Contact Susan DeHoff with questions.

News from PCiS Groups
Men's Monthly Breakfast and Bible Study will have their final meeting for this program year on Friday, June 13th at 6:30am.
Compassionate Knitting group meets monthly on the 2nd Tuesday at 7:00pm. Our next meeting is June 10th. Learn more.
Artists Group meets most Mondays from 7:00-9:00pm. All are welcome. *Check the calendar.
Wednesday Women's Bible Study and the Youth Groups will resume meeting in September.
