INTO Marshall Hosts Delegation from Mexico

Photo above - students pause for photos as the group begins its tour of Huntington.  Article and photos by Eric Fry, Director, and the   INTO Marshall program and
The tranquil college town of Huntington, WV is taking on a decided south of the border feel as 160 sponsored students from Mexico's Proyecta 100,000 began a special General English program on November 3rd.   United States President Obama and Mexican President Enrique Pena Nieto agreed to a massive student exchange program that will see 100,000 Mexican students travel to the United States and 50,000 American students study in Mexico by 2018.

INTO Marshall University and Marshall University are spearheading the project and a week into the first cohort students and faculty could not be happier.  Stephani Hernandez Reys from the University of Technology in Tehuacan is highly impressed with INTO Marshall University and the entire community. "This has been ideal for acquiring intercultural skills.  The classes are interesting, dynamic and highly productive."
