American Legion Post 615 will host its Tinley Park Fall Fest from 5 to 10 p.m. Sept. 25 and 26; 1 to 10 p.m. Sept. 27; and 1 to 6 p.m. Sept. 28 at 175th Street and Oak Park Avenue in Tinley Park. The event will feature carnival rides, games, food vendors, crafts, a beer tent hosted by V.F.W. Post 2791 and live entertainment by the Baked Potatoes, who will perform from 7 to 11 p.m. Sept. 26 at the post, 17147 S. Oak Park Ave., Tinley Park. The cover charge for the concert is $5. Tickets are available for Together We Cope's annual "Pasta Extravaganza and Nite at the Races," which will take place from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 1 at Orland Chateau, 14500 S. LaGrange Road, Orland Park. The dinner will feature dishes from dozens of south suburban restaurants.

Videotaped horse races will be shown during the evening that will give diners a chance to place wagers with "fun money" they purchase at the door. Winnings will be paid in raffle tickets for the many prizes available to be won that evening.

The cost is $25 for adults and $5 for children ages 3 to 12. Proceeds support programs at Together We Cope, a Tinley Park-based homeless prevention agency.

The Tinley Park Chamber of Commerce will host its fourth annual Bag Crawl on Saturday, Oct. 18 along historic Oak Park Avenue in Downtown Tinley. Registration begins at noon at Ed & Joe's Restaurant and Pizzeria, 17332 S. Oak Park Ave., where participants also will toss their first bag of the day.

The first group of crawlers will leave Ed & Joe's at 1 p.m., and the second group will leave at 1:30 p.m. From Ed & Joe's participants will visit six more locations along Oak Park Avenue, tossing four bags at each location. Each stop will have snacks and drink specials for all Bag Crawl participants. The final route will be announced soon!
