Specifically, she will talk to the lower earning and retirement savings, rising retirement costs, inadequate retirement income, longer life expectancy, and how some women are adversely affected by unexpected events. Tracey is an engaging, well informed speaker who will be ready to answer your questions and concerns as she addresses these challenges and there will be time allowed afterwards for additional questions and answers.

Workshop and Survey

The City of Bulverde is conducting a visioning process for the Downtown Bulverde Village (DBV) area and is seeking Community input to help us identify the needs and expectations that our residents have for this area, both now and in the future. You are being invited to participate in this process by completing an online survey about the DBV area and attending a community workshop to discuss the goals, objectives, and proposals related to this study.

The opening night, October 9 at 8:00 PM will benefit the Friends of the Bulverde/Spring Branch Library. Proceeds will be used for library programs and/or equipment.

Please join FOL for a quick witted, intelligent voyage into the not-so-tranquil seas of middle aged love and dating. A wine and cheese reception will follow the performance. Dinner is also available at a reasonable price beginning at 6:30 PM.  Curtain is at 8:00 PM.

Dear Bulverde Spring Branch Area Chamber of Commerce Members,

Thank you so much for all the donations for the Annual St. Jude's Back Pack Project.

It could not be done with out you. Imagine making 40 kiddos back packs to start a school year. On average it cost about $50.00 per student to do a back pack; this would amount to over $2,000.00 to complete this project for St. Jude's. We collected a total of $920.00 this year.

With out the help of you, the Chamber of Commerce members, along with Frost Bank, Randolph Brooks Federal Credit Union, Don and Karen Wagoner, Bulverde Lions Club, Bulverde Hills Dental, Broadway Bank, Bonnye Renfrow of Hair Tech Plus, Eugenia Southwell, Duane and Debbie Hannasch, Tom and Nancy Hotaling, Jane Wood and Gary and Patti Prescott this project would not happen.

Special thanks to Don and Karen Wagoner this year for supplying 28 of the 40 back packs and Bulverde Lions Club for supplying the rest of the packs for us. With out these donations we really would not have supplies to put in a back pack.

Thanks to Lisa Cragg of Cragg's Do It Best for helping us get the supplies we need at a very reasonable cost and doing so much work to make sure each age child gets everything for their school year.

Great blessing to live in a community were we have people and businesses that will help with the foster children of our area. Appreciate all that everyone does to make this happen.
