Dear Street's Hope Supporter,

Lots of exciting things have been happening at Street's Hope lately!  On March 6th, we hosted our event "Tricked: the truth about America's sex industry." We packed out the theater with over 400 guests in attendance and were able to raise $2,300 in donations! Additionally, we raised awareness about the sex industry and provided an exemplary model for community collaboration.  In the words of panelist Jim Smithwick, "Talk about this issue with your community, even if it's uncomfortable... the more eyes and ears on this issue the better." We believe we did just that on Thursday night.

In other news, we are pleased to announce staffing changes and additions to our Street's Hope team! Laurallee Rucker, former program graduate, has expanded her role from overnight staff to now working as our Housing Director and Volunteer Coordinator. We are so proud of Laurallee and thankful for the many ways she contributes to Street's Hope! Please help us also welcome:  Peg Theobald (Program Manager), Sarah Barr (Residential Support), and Emily Rome (Development Assistant intern).
