Austin adding 34,900 net new jobs, ranking 3rd best performing among top 50 metros areas.

The new partnership aims to increase participation in our Financial Aid Saturdays program focused on helping thousands of students and their families complete financial aid forms before deadlines.

The Austin Chamber has weighed in on the rate proposals for Austin Energy.
"For several years, the Chamber has advocated for, and the City of Austin has adopted, an affordability policy which requires Austin Energy bills to be in the bottom half of Texas ratepayers and minimizes increases to two percent per year for each rate class...yet, Austin Energy customers are now paying some of the highest electric bills in the state while overall energy costs are falling."

Voter registration deadline approaching
February 1 is the last day to register to vote in Texas in order to participate in the presidential primary in addition to any Austin issues that may be on the ballot.
