We dig it- our own potatoes, that is!

 

This variety of potatoes is called Superior. It can be used for baking, mashing, chowder, it is a really good all around potato. There is nothing like a fresh dug potato!

 

 

You know August has arrived because we are harvesting our own eggplant and onions!

 

 

We still have our own corn! Our corn harvest is still going strong, and each new variety is better than the last. They are sweet and delicious. 

 

 

We have a nice offering of vegetables grown from other MAINE farmers like these beet greens and Candy stripe beets (chioggia beets.) Check out our full list in the Harvest Section below.

IMPORTANT REMINDER TO OUR CSA MEMBERS
Please be sure to tell the cashier that you are a CSA Member BEFORE they begin the cash out. The computer needs to know who you are before the cash out begins, otherwise the item will ring up at the regular price. The computer is not smart enough to look back at items already added to the sale.

Community Supported Agriculture is a program designed to encourage community members to support their local agriculture. Shares are sold in the winter when cash flow is low. In return, members receive extra credit to spend during the season, as well as, discounts on plants and produce.
Consider joining our CSA program to boost your spending power at our Farm Stand!! Applications will be available early January for the 2015 season.

FARMSHARE
We are still taking applications for the 2014 Maine Senior FarmShare Program. This gives low-income seniors $50 of FREE fruits and veggies to use throughout the summer. If you know anyone who may qualify, have them stop by the stand and fill out an application!
