Market News

Information about the economy tends to thin out towards the middle of the month and what there has been has tended to reinforce the status quo. On the national/global front, job creation continues to expand and GDP growth is on pace to exceed 3% in 2014. At the regional level, vacancy rates for commercial real estate continue to decline while rents rise. Private corporations have been fueling construction of manufacturing and office projects. Opportunities in healthcare and education continue to decline.
