Ana Victoria Camacho
Ana Victoria Camacho is a psychologist and a passionate about arts and graphic design. She is in charge of creating all digital campaigns and marketing initiatives in Ocotea Tours & Transfers. With each creation, she tries to communicate others the beauty of Monteverde in an original but effective way. Hummingbirds in the Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve
In the past few days, there have been spotted 2 hummingbird nests under construction on the path that leads to the waterfall at the Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve. This construction process takes about a month, and if completed successfully we can expect hatching very soon. In another area of the Reserve there in a nest with baby hummingbirds, and will be ready to leave their birth home by next week.

Piano concert with Jos� Pablo Quesada
We invite you to attend a musical evening with the Costa Rican pianist Jos� Pablo Quesada. This great artist is the Director of Operations at the PianoTexas International Academy & Festival; student of Doctor of Musical Arts at Texas Christian University (TCU); Instructor of Musicology at the TCU School of Music; and Piano Professor at the School of Music at the National University of Costa Rica. He has given recitals, concerts and master classes in 12 countries worldwide; two distinguish among them: a double invitation to play at Carnegie Hall in New York in 2010 and 2011. Quesada is also a consistent performer of new contemporary music, with worldwide debuts of several piano solos, piano and orchestra, and chamber music. He has been laureate of many international competitions and scholarships.

Widening of the Guacimal-Santa Elena route
To our neighbors, transporters, tourists and others who visit or live in the community of Monteverde, we share the available shedules, until further notice, for allowing passage while the Raasa Company is working on the 606 Guacimal-Monteverde Route. Please take this into consideration for an efficient planning and to avoid too many drawbacks.
*Remember you can use the alternate route through Las Juntas.
