Watch for some "clap your hands", happy fun! Enjoy! and Cant wait to see you! This Saturday, is our August 16th F*R*E*E* Open House. We have a great agenda which includes our usual line-up of practitioners and special guests, Cecelia Staryos (Reiki Master-Teacher) from MA and Ken Lara (Reconnection facilitator and soon-to-be-massage-school grad) from NY will be offering f*r*e*e* samples. Our newest TCHE member, Whitney Christina and tenant of 3BL will be introducing her work and herself to us with a 20 min. presentation all about The Bars of Access Consciousness at 1:30. She will also be offering sample healings. See her article below.
Kasey Gordon is on vacation this month, however, I just want to display the piece that I have in the Teal Healing Room, b/c I found a great frame. Everybody loves Kasey's work and he will be back in September.
 In the meantime, we are honored to present up and coming holistic artist  Lynda Miklos. See her article below! Sunday the 17th- the day after our Open House we have a very special event that many of us have been waiting for for a long time. Dr. Gene Ang will be teaching 10 methods for Quantum Spoon Bending- see the article below and register today with the new link.
Special shout-out to Melissa Shute our resident hypnotherapist and her husband, and Tom Dest our resident Sonic Alchemist and Meditation Teacher for doing a great job painting the kitchen (and the rest of the Top Floor!) ... Enlightenment Yellow walls- how suitable!  We are continuing to upgrade the Center and we now have WiFi. On August 22nd we are having new carpeting installed! Special thanks to our landlord for his commitment to creating a holistic center. So be prepared to be totally wowed! in September. Speaking of September please note that the "Lessons in Courage" Workshop with don Oscar has been re-schedule until January 31st with a special Friday evening Introduction and book-signing workshop.
Plan to stay the whole day with us on Saturday September 20th- because after our Open House Rebecca Anne Lociccero will be back for another one of her "knock our socks off" gallery readings, from 4:30 to 6:30. Stay tuned for more information and for registration opening up.
If you are a holistic practitioner looking for community and marketing opportunities- contact Celeste to become a TCHE member. And if you are looking for a new home- look no further! We still have some terrific shares available, healing rooms already set up with tables and empty rooms to set up as you please. Celeste is looking for another psychotherapist to share Room #310 with her as she will be seeing her clients there regularly by September. This leaves only 1 office left to fill on the Top Floor- so don't wait any longer! Call Celeste immediately and get on board.

This month's Featured Member is
Whitney Christina, CFMW, Access Consciousness� Certified Facilitator
Whitney is our newest member, and a tenant of office #309. In September, she will begin practicing out of the double-office space 307/8 on the Top Floor. (This space is available to share.) Whitney practices Buddhism and is an Ordained Minister with a Doctorate in Divinity. She is a Usui Reiki Master and a Lightarian Reiki Master. She followed healing energy and found Access Consciousness in 2006, and quickly found that Access is the framework that allows her to get the quickest results for her clients, empowering them to know what they know. The tools and process of Access get quick, lasting results which is why Whitney became a Bars Facilitator and Body Process Facilitator. In 2014, Whitney took another step and became an Access Consciousness Certified Facilitator, CFMW. This allows her to create more joy, choice, ease, and consciousness in the world. Whitney says, "My mission and commitment is to empower you to know what you know, allowing you to choose for you. You will create massive shifts in your world, from health to wealth to sense-of-self." Read moreHer presentation will focus on her work with Access Consciousness. Lynda Miklos Debuts her holistic art at TCHE!
What an honor to have another new artist debut holistic art at our Center for Holistic Empowerment. Lynda Miklos has been a resident of West Hartford for many years. She began painting later in life, attending different adult education classes. "I am currently studying watercolor techniques and American artists at the New Britain Museum of American Art. The idea of combining yoga and art dawned on me after a lesson in an abstract movement of people walking. Also, the fact that these are the two passions in my life that keep my inner spirit going."
Lynda's work has been displayed in local buildings, banks, libraries, and town halls. She creates prints and wonderful greeting cards out of her originals. Be sure and bring your checkbooks!

Gene Ang Brings Spoon Bending to TCHE!
