Hello Daniel,

We are now in the midst of week three of our study of the Gospel of Matthew.  So far we've learned about God's protection and how he advocates for us when bullies come into our lives (like King Herod), and this week we're talking about John the Baptist with the topic (summarized by one of our youth on Sunday) "Don't be 'religious', be 'Real-igious".  I like how that works!  We have some big things coming up.  Gospel of Luke for Confirmands starts tonight; we will be meeting up for "Fields of Faith" next Wednesday Oct 8th at HHI High School (6:30 PM), and Paintball is coming up on Saturday Nov 1st and we welcome all.  Check it all out in today's newsletter!

We are going to have a walk through the Gospel for youth who have been in confirmation in the last year, or who are prospective for Confirmation in January.  This will be a four week study starting October 1st and running for a total of four weeks.  Toney Matthews (Confirmation Co-Leader) will be leading this group.  We hope it will be a great opportunity to come early before youth group and get to know each other prior to Confirmation, and get a chance to walk through the footsteps of Jesus together.  Respond to this newsletter to RSVP.
6th Annual Paintball Trip is coming! Sat November 1st

6:30 am - 3:30 PM, Meet up at Celebration Center: for All Youth And Families of StAndrew, limit 30 people. Cost is $50, and we provide transport, lunch, gear and rounds at Lowcountry Paintball in Ludowici, Ga.
