 LAST CHANCE TO HELP! St. Jude's is having their annual Kid's Awards Banquet next Wednesday, August 6th with a masquerade ball theme- celebration and are in need of prom-type dress donations for our girls as the gentlemen already have had tuxes donated. All sizes would be appreciated, especially med-larger sizes.

Guadalupe River State Park Presents
Fishing 101

at Guadalupe River State Park
If you are looking for a lifetime gift for your child (4 and up), consider joining the staff and volunteers at Guadalupe River State Park for an introduction to fishing. They'll provide the rods and reels as well as the bait as you go in search of sunfish, bass and catfish. Your child will learn the basics of casting, setting the hook and how to properly release a fish.
A limited number of rods and reels are available, so please email Park Ranger Craig Hensley at [email protected] or (830) 438-7653 to reserve a spot for your child. This program is free with a Park Pass or a $7 daily pass (children ages 12 and under are free). Meet at the amphitheater behind the Discovery Center, promptly at 9 a.m., please.

ST. JUDE'S BACK PACK PROGRM FOR 2014
LAST CHANCE!
Any and all new items accepted. If you would like to donate funds at any chamber event they will gladly take and put in the purchasing fund.
Supplies Needed : Kleenex, paper towels, coin purses, pencils, pens, cosmetics mirrors, pencil sacks, graph paper, spiral notebooks, crayons, markers, red pencils (we never can find enough) and lots of notebook paper.
Please deliver all supplies by Wednesday, August 6 as we will be assembling the backpacks beginning August 7. If you would like to volunteer, please contact Diane.

Can you support Bulverde Spring Branch FIRE & EMS who are asking companies to Sponsor their 5th Annual Denim & Diamonds fundraiser at Knibbe Ranch on 12-13-14?
Proceeds will pay for critical high performance bunker gear since 5% of our firefighters do not have their own gear. Sponsors confirmed by Tuesday August 12th will be included (by individual or business name) on the 15,000 invitations being mailed to all Bulverde Spring Branch property owners at the end of August.

The Mission of TADSAW (Train a Dog Save a Warrior) is to provide for the training of a Medical Alert Service dog, as designated by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) guidelines, for any wounded warrior, active duty or veteran, surviving with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Military Sexual Trauma, (MST), and/or Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), in order to restore and improve the warrior's quality of life with a canine 'Battle Buddy', at no charge to the warrior.
