Secret Pals
Secret Pals is a 4-week event matching one adult with one RE child.
The adults know who they are paired with, but the children don't.
Each week for four Sundays, the two partners exchange small gifts. There will be a mailbox (envelope) on a clothesline in the front patio, one for each child.
The adults may give hints so that when they meet for lunch on February 14th, the children may have guessed who the adult secret pals are.

Conflict Resolution for the UU Fellowship
Conflict is a normal part of relational life. While we might wish that our Fellowship community would be conflict-free, we know that we are not immune to it. As Unitarian Universalists, we honor and celebrate diversity, but often struggle with how to negotiate differences when it comes to making decisions or working together. The Committee on Shared Ministry stands ready to assist with any conflicts when they arise, whether interpersonal or communal. We have a trained Conflict Resolution Team ( Carol Schimke, Jayne McCreedy, Randy James, Ginny Aragon) to call on as needed.
Please contact one of the following members of the Committee on Shared Ministry if you are personally experiencing conflict and would like help, or if you are aware of a conflict within the congregation:
Rev. Russ Menk
Ann McCrow, Chair
Joy Hinz

Tuesday February 16th 7:00PM - Bryans Room
The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time
by Mark Haddon
This story, told by a teenage boy with Asperger's syndrome, is "
a novel that is funny, poignant and fascinating in its portrayal of a person whose curse and blessing are a mind that perceives the world entirely literally."
It is a relatively short book with surprising moments of humor and tenderness. It has been adapted to an acclaimed stage play currently on Broadway. All welcome at the book discussion. For questions, call Linda at 724-4089
