Apply Fertilome For All Seasons pre-emergent to all established lawns.
We also have a product to prevent weeds in your shrub beds.
March Do's and Don'ts
DO'S
Fruit / Nuts:
Plant fruit trees NOW! Spray Fertilome Fire Blight Spray on apples & pears when in full bloom. Fertilize with Fertilome Fruit Citrus & Pecan Tree Food.
Shrubs:
Fertilize & prune all shrubs, EXCEPT spring bloomers. Use Fertilome Azalea/Evergreen Food w/Systemic Insecticide.
Roses:
Prune roses NOW!
Begin fertilizing with Fertilome Rose Food w/Systemic Insecticide to keep bugs off.
Lawns:
Scalp Bermuda and Zoysia lawns. Be sure to bag all clippings. Apply Fertilome All Seasons to all established lawns.
Vegetable Seeds:
Plant hardy crops. After danger of frost has past, plant tender vegetables.
MISC:
Check & Repair sprayers, dusters, lawn mowers & irrigations. Sharpen mower blades. Begin planning your vegetable and herb garden.
DON'TS
Don't prune fruiting shrubs, such as cotoneasters, pyracanthas & hollies until after flowering.
Don't spray round-up on lawns to kill weeds or you will kill your grass!

The real March Madness is Spring preparation. March is the perfect time to begin Spring landscaping. Plant trees and shrubs now in cooler temperatures to give them time to prepare for the summer heat.
