An approval for $300 million USD to buy civilian airplanes.....stemming back to commitments made in 2008...or actually requests made to two different aircraft manufacturers.....lot of moola from someone who has little to no money.....guess they will loan anyone money.....I need a home loan please.

Tuesday, 22 July 2014 13:19 | | | Baghdad (Forat) -The Speaker, Saleem al-Jobouri, clarified that the President will be nominated by the parliament via a secret polling on next Wednesday.

During his press conference on Tuesday that is attended by Alforat News Agency Reporter, Jobouri said "There are qualified figures who submitted their files for nomination for the President Post." /End/

Aggiedad77: Family this is BIG NEWS IMO..........it proves the Kurds have actually taken control of the money....the revenue that has been generated from the sale of their oil earlier in May and June......if they are paying in USD from what was in the Turkish banks.....once again they thumb their noses at the Baghdad government....specifically to Maliki's government. Yesterday, a friend of mine in Mexico was given 30 ea. $100 USNs in payment for services, through his normal business. They looked just like regular bills EXCEPT nowhere on it was the words, "FEDERAL RESERVE". This is the NEW TREASURY RESERVE NOTE.

When he went to the bank to confirm, he was given 13.5 pesos, versus the typical 12.7 pesos for regular USD. I'd say there we have it, my friends. This is the RV announcement. The difference is about 8%.

If, as we NOW KNOW, the USN is LIVE and in normal distribution, then we can also know that the RV/GCR has ALREADY HAPPENED. So, that said, I ask this question and would like to have an answer, WHY ISN'T MAIN STREAM MEDIA SHOUTING THIS TO THE ROOFTOPS!!!!

FOX, CNBC, CNN, WHERE ARE YOU ON THIS? T his isn't business as usual! Are we thinking it is? No way, Jose!

Tlar's Tuesday Morning Update -(not to be confused with his last 2 emails he spoke of as Maliki & events created more delays - these updates are as a courtesy to keep us grounded , hopeful and abreast of new events and possible scenarios)

Tlar Comment: - nothing will happen until tomorrow's session. That is the next step in the process.

Tomorrow is shaping up to be very interesting. Jubouri the new POP is making some super moves. He is in the process of changing the rules of procedure to make sure this is not dragged out. He is being quoted that there will be a vote on the Presidency tomorrow.

There are 100 people who have submitted their names, or blocks have submitted their names for them asking to be a nominee for President of Iraq. The Presidency is an open position to anyone in Iraq and to apply all you have to do is put your name in and fill out some forms and be qualified to run.

Jubouri has the Ministry of Defense and the Ministry of the Interior quickly looking at the applicants and their qualifications and most will be disqualified having not met one thing or another before tomorrow's session.

I've always been a bit skeptical about bank stories. And here I am with my own! A good friend went to one of the big four banks this afternoon. Was chatting with a teller he has mentioned the RV to many times before. Today her response was different. She told him that he should be VERY happy. The talk in the bank was that the RV was IMMINENT. He couldn't wait to get home to tell us. This guy is honest Abe and not known for balderdash.

They are waiting for specific timelines - 2 they are working on. They have been trying to hold off until the 3 main positions are released. CBI, new speaker, PM, etc. are all ready. Iraq is ready to go....they have been ready. It's now just a coordination schedule with everyone else. There are a little bit politics being played about when it gets revealed. Quite simply, that's what we're waiting on. It could be anytime now.

At the time of the apartheid collapse, the ZAR / USD was 2.5 / 1. In two short years it went to 6/1 After 9/11 the local central bank announced that it will stop intervening in the ZAR value and the ZAR to USD became 14 / 1 'stabilizing' around 8-9/1. These days due to all the QEs it is almost 11/1.

Ebadi said in an interview for "Alsumaria News", "the Presidency of the Council of Representatives received during the past few days a large number of candidates for the presidency, including civilians and deputies, politicians and former ministers and economists," noting that "a committee was formed for the specifications owned by the candidates.
