Greetings Cascade Family and Friends,

I want to offer a great big THANK YOU to all of you who provided leadership for our Commitment Sunday last week. Our Stewardship chair, Darrell Stallings, and his entire team deserve our gratitude for their diligent efforts and excellent organization. Their planning and facilitation made the day go smoothly, even with the high volume of people moving around in Fellowship Hall. If you were one of the persons who took the leap of faith and signed up for a ministry (maybe for the first time), CONGRATULATIONS to you. As you get more involved, I know you will be blessed.

On another note, I want to share good news about another extension of ministry that is now available to help others. We have created a link on our website which addresses several mental health issues that come about, along with a helpful approach to deal with them. They are: Addiction, Anger, Anxiety, Depression, Forgiveness, Grief and Loss, Salvation, and Suicide. We have prayerfully prepared brief, but substantial, responses that you can access simply by going to www.cascadeumc.org . On the home page, click Connect, and then select Need Help? from the drop-down menu. There, you will find "Resources" that we believe are helpful to anyone who may be dealing with any of the above-listed issues. Check it out. Maybe you are in need, or maybe you know someone who is. Either way, we hope and pray that this additional offering will prove beneficial to all who may need some assistance. Certainly, we don't expect this to be the "cure all" for everyone. We do believe, however, that this is a good start.

Again, thank you for your continued love and support of ministry at Cascade UMC. We continue to respond to God's call as He leads us in service to Cascade and the community at large.
