* Harrison Hills Park Concert Saturday at 7 p.m. featuring Softwinds.
* July 28-31, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. St. Joseph High School, Natrona Heights will conduct a workshop entitled, "X-Press It" for all registered St. Joseph students.  For students to enhance skills in photography, filmmaking, Adobe InDesign/Photoshop, etc.  Call 724-224-5552.
*Gazebo Concert in Freeport at Riverside Park on August 8th at 
7 p.m. featuring Celtic music of na Gaels. 
* The Library Place at Pittsburgh Mills will host a HUGE Used Book Sale August 14-17 in the storefront next to the Chamber office, entrance 3 South. Drop off gently used book donations at the Chamber office. More.

Welcome Our New Member
Animal Protectors is a "No Kill" shelter.  Check out their website or facebook page for lots of great upcoming events!  Their adoption hours are Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday 1 - 4 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday 6 - 8 p.m.  A volunteer application can be downloaded from their website.  Their website also provides information on becoming a member and wishlist items that they would be glad to have as a donation.

Recruitment for Class XXIII is underway!  This is the only leadership development program in the AK Valley.  The program focuses on leadership skill building, networking and community partnerships.  The new class will begin in September.  For more information and an application visit their website.
