Not So Undercover Boss

President and CEO, Opal M. Jones, traded the CEO title for a different role each day last week. She worked alongside employees in different departments for a Not So "Undercover Boss" type of cross-training exercise. "The week taught me, among other things, that the more you know the less you know; everyone's job is difficult; each of our employees cares deeply about our mission and clients while taking extreme pride in what they do; and nobody wants my job. :)"

Administrator Tackles HIV/AIDS in Africa  

Cooper House Administrator, Kimberly Brown, MMPA, LNHA, recently returned from a two week mission in Malawi assisting with maintenance and administration in relation to her expertise with HIV/AIDS. Brown, who used vacation time to travel to Africa, describes the time spent as a fantastic experience. Brown said, "It's wonderful to be able to do something for someone while expecting nothing in return."   

Missions were commonly built in Africa and other parts of the world throughout the 1920's and 30's, but later fell continue...
