The Don Shula Foundation donated $1.5 million to start The Shula Fund at Moffitt Cancer Center which will support cutting-edge research projects that will lead to new treatment and prevention strategies for breast cancer patients throughout Florida and around the world. Join Moffitt for a lunch presentation focusing on what's new in the treatment and early detection of breast cancer. Dr. Christine Laronga, a surgical oncologist specializing in breast cancer, will share an update on breast cancer screening, treatment and research. She'll also answer audience questions.

Speak Out For Moffitt Don't miss the Speak Out for Moffitt Kick-Off at 4 p.m., Nov. 10 at Moffitt's Stabile Research Building. Dr. Alan List, Moffitt's CEO, will preview Moffitt's 2015 legislative agenda and share how you can get involved. Attendees will meet newly elected and re-elected Florida lawmakers and have the opportunity to record video appeals to state leaders explaining the importance of Moffitt's work to Florida families.
