• With a view to promote Muslim community professionals and Businesses, the Lehigh Valley Muslim Business Group (LVMBG) is organizing the 1st Networking event on November 1st at MALV from 12 Noon to 5 PM. • This event will show case local community professionals and will also include Islamic Home Financing Seminar.

• According to MALV Constitution, the term for the current EC and � of the BT members will expire on Dec. 31, 2014. There are 8 EC positions and 4 BT positions open this election. The BT and EC strongly encourage all MALV members to participate in the election process to elect their leaders and ensure the continuity of the good and quality service we have established over the years. It is also important that the community members share the burden and service load for our community. The work in the Center is tremendous and our community is in constant need for committed and dedicated individuals so we build a strong Muslim Community.
• To be eligible to vote in the MALV election, one must be a current (dues to be paid no later than 10/31/2014) member of the MALV and a member for at least 2013. The list of eligible voting members will be finalized and published shortly after midnight 10/31/2014. Requirements to be nominated for a BT or EC position are outlined in the bylaws at www.malv.org Please check the website regularly for updates on the election process.
