WEEKLY SPECIALS

Ethiopia Harrar

This coffee is sourced via one of our longest-running relationships, with Dominion Trading.  We've been working with the Dominion team since 2008 to source all of our Ethiopian coffees.  Dominion runs New Covenant Foundation, a non-profit that invests the profits of coffee brokering into Ethiopian producer communities.

This Harrar is a fabulous example of high desert coffee.  It is deep and rich, with a huge body and rustic cup character.

Moroccan Mint Tea

Moroccan Mint tea is a classic beverage known around the world. It speaks to a style of tea - gunpowder green mixed with soothing mint - that is familiar to tea lovers everywhere. We've kicked it up a notch, of course.
This soothing green tea and aromatic, refreshing mint combine to result in a subtle green tea flavor mingled with a dominant, cooling menthol profile. Traditionally taken with lots of added sugar to result in a sweet, minty beverage.

Happy Thursday!

Business as usual this week, but check the above dates and the vacation section of our website to see when we will be closed in the upcoming weeks.  Our daughters spent a lot of time helping Debbie clean up the roastery last week.  This is only the beginning of preparing for our expansion within the next several months.  If you are in the neighborhood, feel free to stop by and tour the roastery.  If you are not local, Emily has started a new blog.  She wrote an excellent post about the behind the scenes at the roastery.

After being in business for seven years, we are starting to see an explosion of new customers.  We are receiving many internet orders from first time buyers, getting phone calls inquiring about our business and people walking into the shop and at the farmers' markets, saying it is their first time visiting us.  It is our pleasure to spend time talking to you about the nature of our business.  To learn more, like us on Facebook and follow us on Twitter.  As a small, family-owned business, word of mouth is our best advertising.  So, thank you to everyone who continues to spread the word about Muddy Dog Roasting Company!

Enjoy your weekend!

Jim and Debbie
