March 4, 2016 - Lunch and Learn

Presenter:   Diane Lloyd CFRE ACC , CEO and Executive Coach, Inspired Results Group

Title of Presentation :  Navigating the transition from Fundraiser to Inspiring Leader!

Leadership is an important component of charitable success and a topic that needs more discussion and exploration for fundraisers and non-profit professionals who are entering the roles of Manager, Director and Executive Director in philanthropic organizations across the country.  It is timely to talk about what Inspiring Leadership looks and feels like, so that we can begin to focus on developing these skills and successfully transition from fundraising superstars, to inspiring leaders.

This session will resonate whether you are currently in leadership or thinking about taking that step. We will explore the attributes of "inspiring leadership" and the specific strategies, skills and behaviours that inspiring leaders need to cultivate in order to create high performing teams and ultimately attract more donors to their organizations. Based on the work of authors Simon Sinek; Leaders Eat Last, Betsy Myers; Take the Lead, and Kouzes and Posner; The Leadership Challenge, this fast paced session will help you rethink your approach to leadership and give you practical suggestions you can implement immediately!
