Demolition Notice
810 SW Palatine

Portland's Bureau of Developmental Services (BDS) is requiring a 30-day delay on demolition of the structure at 810 SW Palatine to allow for neighborhood input. Additionally, notification of neighbors is important because of air quality impacts during the demolition due to possible release of hazardous materials such as asbestos or lead-based paint.

A representative will be available at the October 14th meeting to answer questions about the planned demolition at 810 SW Palatine.

Tips for staying cozy this winter:
  • Open south-facing window curtains, drapes and blinds during the day. Let the sunlight naturally heat your home.
  • Cover the inside of drafty windows with clear, plastic film, sealed tightly to the frame.
  • Set thermostat 10 to 15 degrees cooler when your not at home. Lower slightly at night and use an extra blanket.
  • Get a free home energy efficiency check up from Clean Energy Works.
