Westland, MI - Mayor William R. Wild is pleased to announce that Westland's signature event, The All American Blues, Brews & Barbecue is back by popular demand for its fourth year.   This year's two-day event will be held on Friday, September 12th from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. and Saturday, September 13th from 11:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. at Thomas H. Brown Central City Park, located on N. Carlson between Ford and Marquette Roads.

This unique event benefits our local non-profit organizations that volunteer during the two-day event.  Please consider showcasing your business by sponsoring this successful event to the thousands of attendees from all over Southeastern Michigan.    

"Over the last three (3) years, generous sponsors have allowed us to donate nearly $60,000 back to local non-profit organizations which provide shelter, clothing and food to those in need in our community," stated Mayor Wild.

Music lovers will be treated to some of the Detroit Blues Society's most popular acts, including a special Friday night performance by The Soul Men.  Local restaurants will fire up the grills to serve some of the most amazing barbecue around.  To top it all off, there will be a wide variety of some of Michigan's most popular micro-brewed beers.  Friday night will also feature, "Bike Night" as area motorcycle enthusiasts are welcome to join all of the fun.
