I just wanted to tell you that we had an exceptional experience today. Our docent was particularly knowledgeable and personable. Many people mentioned in our discussion over lunch how helpful her many metaphors and examples were to help explain the heart of the religion. As a scholar of religion, I was particularly impressed with her knowledge of the Qur'anic texts, citing sura and verse.
Now more than ever, I feel so strongly that people in my community need to have personal interactions with Muslims, putting a face and human contact to this religion rather than sloppy media reports and cultural propaganda. Community Safety Conversation with Law Enforcement Leaders

ICGC leadership has invited and will be hosting the West Chester Police Chief, Joel Herzog as well as SW Ohio's top prosecutor, Carter Stewart, who reports to the US Attorney General. The session with useful information on their roles, resources accessible to our community and ability to ask about our pressing concerns will be at ICGC on
