The physical education department is need of a used golf cart. The golf cart is used for transporting equipment, setting up fields, and in emergencies to take students to the clinic. Please contact Christie McWilliams at [email protected].

Fund Raiser for the Children's Advocacy
Center of Collier County
Student Council will be collecting donations from March 10-March 14 before school in the courtyard. For each $1 donation, the student will vote for the teacher he/she would like to see dress as a leprechaun on St. Patrick's Day. If every student and staff member donates $1, we will raise close to $1000 for this worthwhile organization.

NNMS eighth grade Emma Hofstetter received third place recognition at the Collier County Laws of Life awards banquet held at the Hilton Hotel on February 26th! More than 4,100 students in grades 4-12 from public and private schools throughout Collier County contributed essays for judging, and forty-one semi-finalists were selected to present their papers orally in front of the Blue Ribbon Panel of judges. From these 41 finalists, four finalists were selected in each division ( 4-5th grade, 6-8th grade, 9-10th grade, and 11-12th grade), and the winning essayists were honored at the Laws of Life awards banquet. Emma's essay presented her views on the character trait of tolerance and how practicing tolerance is a virtue of life. Congratulations to Emma Hofstetter!
