Special Opportunity: Walking Survey
UAB Sociologists Dr. Adrienne Milner and Dr. Elizabeth Baker are recruiting individuals to participate in a walking program through the use of a survey that is designed to measure feelings and behaviors with regard to health and physical activity. From those who complete the survey, they will choose participants for a study, and those individuals will receive a monetary incentive of $100 to take part in their research. If you choose to participate, you will be asked to take the following online survey which contains more detailed information about the study and should take approximately 5-10 minutes to complete. Your input is important and appreciated. If you agree to participate or would like to learn more about the study, please click on the link below or copy and paste it into your web browser:

The seminar will also focus on how well-conducted pilot studies can springboard to larger research applications. Designed for new investigators (doctoral students. post doctoral fellows, and junior faculty) who are preparing to pilot study applications.
