Passing the Gavel
New SMBA Officers and Directors
The 43rd Annual Banquet and Installation of Officers was held Friday, January 15, 2016 at Hickory Hills Country Club with two hundred on hand as the gavel was passed to 2016 SMBA President Rob Palmer. New officers and directors were recognized; President-Elect, Ginger Gooch; Treasurer, Emily Kembell; Secretary, Ashley Twibell; and directors Chantel Alberhasky, Jeff Bauer, Stacie Bilyeu and John Pratt.  Directors with continuing terms are Jason Smith, Matthew Growcock, Eugene Han, Jim Tucker, Tom Carver, John Lightner and Joseph Reid. Serving ex officio are; Mark McQueary, Past President; Thomas Mountjoy, Presiding Judge; and Crista Hogan, Executive Director. Following dinner there was music and dancing with "Sober as a Judge. McQueary Recognizes 2015 SMBA Leadership
President's Awards go to  Sebrina Barrett, Judge Cordonnier & Lee Viorel
In his final act as 2015 SMBA President, Mark McQueary recognized the 2015 SMBA Officers and Directors at the Installation Banquet held January 15 at Hickory Hills Country Club.  McQueary thanked outgoing board members; Dwayne Fulk, Past President; Stephanie Montgomery, Treasurer; and Emma Schuering, Secretary; and directors the Honorable Douglas Harpool, Catherine Reade, Laurel Stevenson and Eric Jensen.  

McQueary also recognized three individuals for their outstanding contributions and support of the SMBA.  Those President's Award's Recipients are Lee Viorel, the Honorable Michael Cordonnier, and Sebrina Barrett.
