Rendezvous with a Comet

9:00 am - 12:00 pm
Who: Ages 10 - adult
(event not suitable for children under 10)
Cost: $20 / person
This month, you have a chance to join Challenger on a mission to a comet. Bring your family and friends to join our team of astronauts and mission control specialists. Work together to collect particles from the tail of a comet, operate robotic arms, monitor spacecraft systems, collect meteorite samples, conduct medical tests, and more!
The Challenger Learning Center of Colorado is hosting a "Night under the Stars" event. Challenger will be presenting a planetarium show focused on our fall skies. The
Colorado Springs Astronomical Society will have their telescopes set up for a fantastic viewing of celestial objects. Bring your family and friends to explore Colorado's night skies. Space is limited and tickets are on a first come first served basis.
