Why is the auction so important to Prairie?

The auction is one of Prairie's largest fundraisers and contributes the greatest percentage of funds to special programs like the Reading Specialist, School Counselor and even the Spanish program.

Every dollar raised goes directly into the Prairie Fund to support these programs . These are resources we may lose if we don't raise enough fund to sustain them.

Please help us keep these programs - click here to purchase your tickets today.

Thank you for your support!

Prairie needs Dads!

The Watch D.O.G.S. program is a national program designed to give Dads a chance to become more involved in their child's school. Spend a half day at Prairie, and you can have the chance to help in your student's class, at recess, in the lunch room and anywhere you're needed!  Sign up here

Mark your calendar for One Book, One School events

We're so excited to start the activities and read Little House on the Prairie. Here's what's planned for next week:

  • Monday - students will create bookmarks in Library.  The winner receives a $10 gift card to Barnes & Noble.
  • Tuesday - stop by the library to guess how many clothespins are in the estimation jar. Classes will create a craft: clothespin doll OR quill writing.
  • Wednesday - Stop by the Library for a trivia ballot.
  • Thursday - One Room School Room - the students will meet in the gym to get their class assignments.

This will be so fun for them to experience what it was like for the very first students at Prairie School in the 1800s.
