Job Clubs and Peer Counseling Networks

New Jersey is home to many job clubs, peer counseling groups, and other employment networks to help job seekers in transition. These groups may meet at libraries, churches, or other community centers and are typically staffed by volunteer job seekers. They often organize speakers on important job search techniques. Some are industry-specific; most are free and open to all job seekers.

Visit the New Start Career Network website under the Job Seekers tab, and click on Job Clubs and Peer Counseling Networks. You can enter your zip code to see which groups may be meeting in your area or elsewhere around the state.
Please feel free to contact us with questions at [email protected] or by phone at 848-932-1756.
