Dr. Helsel's sermon for next week is "Jacob's Story," focusing on the text Genesis 28.10-19a. Jacob has been known as a "trickster" who has received the blessings that should have been given to his older brother, Esau. In this text, we learn of God's promises to Jacob that come through a dream, despite Jacob's lack of good behavior.

Worship at Wingate
On the third Sunday of each month, faithful PCIS volunteers gather for this important ministry at Wingate Nursing Home. Please consider joining us Sunday at 1:00pm as we minister to God's older children. Volunteers are always needed. The number of Wingate folks able to attend worship is dependent upon the number of PCIS volunteers who are able to help out. Contact Susan DeHoff.
