You're invited to meet us in Margaritaville in celebration of the 40th Anniversary of Abilities, and in honor of founding Board Members Dr. Frank Wolf, Jr. and Phyllis Burd.  Guaranteed to be an entertaining and enjoyable evening held at Hawk Point Golf Club with musical entertainment provided by the ultimate Jimmy Buffet tribute band, Jimmy and the Parrots, and featuring a cocktail reception, dinner, silent auction and 50/50 raffle.  Dress business casual or in your best Jimmy Buffet inspired attire!

We are currently seeking:
  • "Key" event sponsorships; which include event recognition, tickets and ad opportunities.  Multiple levels to choose from.
  • Commemorative Event Program congratulatory ads.
  • Donations of merchandise, gift certificates, tickets to events, professional services and more, for the Silent Auction.  
  • 50/50 raffle ticket purchases ($20 per or 7 for $100)

Proceeds from this unique event will be dedicated to the expansion of our electronics recycling program, a new service offered to the local community while providing opportunities to the individuals we serve.

We are proud to announce the first initiative in the SustainAbilities program, electronics recycling!   We are now offering employment and training opportunities in electronics dismantling and are a full service electronics recycling center, while providing an environmentally sound "green" solution to the local community.   

 

Donations for electronic recycling can be dropped off between the hours of 9:00 am and 3:00 pm, Monday through Friday (except holidays).  Acceptable electronics donations are as follows, but we can virtually take anything that has a plug!  

  • Computers & Accessories (Mouse, Keyboard, Speakers, Wires & Cords)
  • Printers, Copy Machines, Fax Machines & Scanners
  • A/V Components (VCR, DVD, CD Cassette, Record Players, 8-Track Players, & Radios)
  • Phones (Telephones & Cell Phones)
  • Small Kitchen Appliances (Toasters, Microwaves, Coffee Makers, Can Openers, etc.)
  • Vacuums (remove dust bags or empty canisters)
  • LCD Monitors
  • CRT Monitors- fee applies
  • TV's up to 32"-  fee applies
  • Certified Data Destruction- fee applies
  • Freon Items- fee applies  (Refrigerators, Freezers, AC Units, Water Coolers, Dehumidifiers)
