 This workshop provides opportunities for individual growth and development, interaction, and exchange of ideas as you learn new approaches to work responsibilities, functions, and relationships in the profession. NCRA and ICJE approval pending for .5 CEUs. Date: October 11

For those of you who are photography buffs:
* Fundamentals of Digital Photography
VSU Campus Photographer, Paul Leavy returns with this  popular 5-session evening course for those interested in learning basic skills to operate your digital SLR camera to take better photos. Dates: TBA
Personal Enrichment
Anna Waddell will share her artistic talents and expertise in two courses: Waves of Watercolor and Drawing for Beginners.
Ballroom 101 with lifelong dancer, Janice Blanchard, will help you learn the basics of Waltz and Swing in a fun and friendly atmosphere.
Beer Tasting - Join us for a celebration of craft and fall Octoberfest-type beers and discover why all beers are not created equal. Instructor: Herb Fiester.

Camp Discovery Highlights
|
We are wrapping up another successful year of Camp Discovery, with over 500 registrations in almost 50 camps.
Our kids peered through microscopes in Mad Scientists, exercised their creativity in our painting and cartooning camps, gained confidence and learned stage presence in Acting Out, Let's Act, and Broadway Bound, discovered how fun mathematics can be in Math Madness, learned about dinosaurs and endangered animals, improved their physical fitness with Tennis, Fun and Games, and Survivor VSU camps, and so much more! We would like to thank all our wonderful instructors, our camp staff, our volunteers, and most importantly, the parents who chose to share their children with us this summer. We look forward to an even bigger and better Camp Discovery next year!

Lessons come out on Wednesday and Friday of each week; you may access them at your convenience. You have ten days to complete each lesson after it has been introduced.
