Dr. Helsel's sermon will reflect on the story of Joseph's brothers as we read together Genesis 37.1-4, 12-28. Joseph's brothers saw that their father Israel loved Joseph the best, and their jealousy drove them to selling him into slavery. Brothers against brothers; isn't this what we continue to see today all over the world?

Worship at Wingate Is This Week!
Please join us this month on August 10th at 1:00pm as we minister to God's "older children" in a special service of scriptures and hymns. Volunteers are always needed. Remember, the number of Wingate folks who get to attend worship is directly dependent upon the number of PCIS folks who are able to help out.

Miracle Kitchen
Today at 6:00pm
Volunteers are needed to make casseroles and serve dinner at the Salvation Army Center in Framingham on August 8th. The time commitment is about an hour - be there by 5:30 to set up and finish around 6:30pm. Contact Dottie Keene with questions.

Start-Up Sunday
September 7th
Join us as we kick-off a new year with food, fun, and fellowship. Sign-up online or in the lobby and let us know what food you can bring to the picnic.

We are looking for a grill to borrow and someone with a truck who can help transport it to the church.

Back-to-School Backpacks!
We are working with the Framingham Resource center to provide 20 Kindergarten students with backpacks for the new school year. These are disadvantaged children who need basic school supplies to start the year. You can sign up and choose your student in the foyer. A list of suggested items as well as your student's personal preferences are included to make shopping easier. An additional clothing item is also optional. Gift certificates are also very much appreciated. Packages are due back at the church by August 24th. Contact Heather Goetsch with any questions.

New Volunteer Opportunity
Love babies and toddlers? Willing to lend a hand? We are currently developing a list of possible volunteers to help support the nursery staff when an extra set of hands is needed on a Sunday morning. If you are interested, please contact the office or sign up online here.
