Collins Scholarship Recipient & CHS Graduate Shining Bright
|
"Dr. Leo" Davis has opened Distinct Dental Studio in Lancaster, Texas. Davis is a 2001 graduate of Corsicana High School and a Collins Scholar. He and his twin brother, Lee, attended Navarro College after high school. Davis received a degree in Business Administration at Austin College and then was accepted to Baylor's College of Dentistry. Lee and Leo both graduated from Baylor's College of Dentistry. Leo was most recently practicing in Cedar Hill. Dr. Leo is married with two children. Lee is currently pursuing other business interests.

Several staff members participated in the Friends of Texas Public Schools' CISD Ambassador Program. This program brought team members together to share positive news happening around the district. In addition, these staff members were empowered with knowledge about success of public schools, in general, as well as strategies to create positive culture throughout their departments and campuses.

Bowie Elementary 3rd graders were provided a special weather presentation from Eric Meyers, Navarro County Emergency Operations Coordinator. The finale included
a Van de Graaff machine that simulated lightening
