In conjunction with local after-school programs, we have been able to identify a few new options for BFCCPS families on early Release days. The programs listed below each offer transportation from BFCCPS to their facility.

Our next early release will be next Wednesday, the 23rd and additional early release days are scheduled in 2016. All of the Early Release Options are first come, first serve and require reservations in advance.  Therefore, we encourage you to contact the care providers listed below to secure any reservations you might require for the remaining early release days at your earliest convenience.

If you do opt to use any of these services, please be sure to send a change of dismissal to your child's homeroom teacher and Mrs. Tappin to notify us of the change to their regular dismissal arrangements.

Play, learn, and grow in the YMCA School's Out program which offer a before-and-after-school experience with healthy, constructive enrichment activities. A nutritious snack is offered daily. We follow the eight core contents of the YMCA's School-Age Curriculum, which incorporates literacy, science, technology, health, wellness and fitness, arts and humanities, homework support, service learning, character development, and social competence and conflict resolution.  We're open on teacher professional development and most holidays and school vacation. Transportation to and from school is included.

R eminders from the Front Office:
 
Visitors: All visitors to the school are required to sign in at the Front Office and wear a Visitor's badge. Visitors must be escorted at all times.  Thank you for your help with this!
 
Parking & Parking Lot Safety:  Parking is not allowed in marked reserved spots near the schools main entrance. These spots are reserved for the CCD program staff.

Please adhere to the posted arrival and dismissal procedures which are posted here our website.  
 
Inclement Weather procedures are posted here on the BFCCPS website. 
To submit events for the School Calendar or to place building space requests please fill out a Blue Sheet in the front office and submit to the Assistant Head of School, Joe Perna. 

To submit content to the Buzz for publication, please email Joanne Basile with your 2-3 sentence blurb by no later than Monday at noon for publication in that Wednesday's issue.
