Western's Emergency Weather Siren

Western's emergency weather siren system will now be tested every Friday at 12 noon sharp. The siren will routinely sound for less than one minute. In addition to ensuring the siren's effective operation, this regular testing will help ensure campus and surrounding community members are familiar with Western's severe weather warning system.

In a real weather emergency when the siren is activated, individuals need to seek immediate shelter.
To find out more about Western's Emergency Weather Siren and what to do in an actual acute weather situation visit here.
