The Open Source Library - Arduino & Other Open Source Hardware
October 8, 2014 12:00 - 1:00 pm ET

We are living in a maker revolution; where people are building solutions to their own problems. Open Source options allow for makers to prototype and build their new technology ideas; all using an open source framework and platform; with an entire community backing and supporting open source projects.

Arduino is a very common open source microcontroller; think of it as a miniature computer. You can build everything from robots to interactive displays; all through affordable and inexpensive hardware solutions. This session will discuss the history of open source hardware, arduinos, and how they play in libraries; as a way to provide solutions to problems. We will also explore great programming ideas for patrons.
