2015 American Trails
 
National & International Trails Awards 
and Developers Award

Due to many requests,

the deadline for submitting nominations has been extended to September 30, 2014.    

 

 

American Trails presents the National & International Trails Awards Program, including our Developers Award, to recognize the tremendous contributions of volunteers, professionals, and other leaders who are working for the betterment of trails both nationally and internationally in both rural and urban settings. Nominations should be made for actions that took place during the period between August 1, 2012 - July 31, 2014.

Winners will be presented at the 22nd American Trails International Trails Symposium (ITS) Awards Banquet in Portland, Oregon on May 19, 2015.

Please review the nomination packet carefully as some category descriptions have been revised, including the Trail Worker and Trail Advocacy Awards (instead of one winner per state, we will choose up to five winners for the country per category -- nominees must be within the U.S. or Puerto Rico).

Like in previous years, the exhibit hall will be designed as an Indoor Trails & Greenways System complete trails meandering throughout and landscaping in abundance. If any exhibitor is interested in letting us "borrow" their products to help us create these areas, we welcome them!

 

PTBA Outdoor Demonstration Area & Trade Show

Exhibitors also have the opportunity to participate in this new addition to the International Trails Symposium and in partnership with the Professional TrailBuilders Association, PTBA puts on the only Outdoor Trade Show in the nation dedicated to trailbuilders and trailbuilding tools, technology, and techniques. You must be a booth exhibitor in order to participate and pay a small additional fee. Details are on page 6 of the Sponsor and Exhibitor Packet.  

 

Benefits of coming in early as an exhibitor include:
