YES, WE'RE MOVING!
We're making our way downtown!
On September 15th we plan to open the doors to our new studio at St. Mark's Church-in-the-Bowery and welcome everyone to the new school year!  The plans for the studio have been drawn and work is beginning on turning what was once a black box theater into a light and airy dance studio.  We had the opportunity to start getting acquainted with the neighborhood while holding our Summer Camp on another floor of the church building, and the energy of the area has already brought new life to the company and school.  We will keep you updated as we progress through the construction of our new home!
NYTB and The Public Theater!
New York Theatre Ballet and children from Ballet School NY will appear in The Public Theater's musical adaptation of William Shakespeare's The Winter's Tale, choreographed by Chase Brock. We are especially proud to announce that BSNY student Jennifer Levine will have the featured role of Time in the production! The Winter's Tale is part of The Public's Shakespeare in the Park at the Delacorte Theater in Central Park, and runs September 5-7. For more information about The Winter's Tale and how to get tickets visit The Public Theater.
NYTB appearing in the Downtown Dance Festival!
NYTB will also participate in the 33rd Annual Downtown Dance Festival, presented by Battery Dance Company.  The three day event is hosted at The Robert F. Wagner Jr. Park in lower Manhattan and is free of charge.  You can catch New York Theatre Ballet on Monday, August 18th at 7pm.  For a full line up of the festival and more information please visit Battery Dance.
