Last week we studied the subject of capital controls in some depth regarding taxation, just one of it's many manifestations. 

Today I want to help you see that the momentum towards this end is not only building but that our court system is cooperating as our freedoms are quickly being taken away.

The degree to which these erosions are taking place and it's absence from the mainstream press is most troubling.  What you are about to read came to me from Simon Black at SovereignMan.com

I challenge the reader to find this discussed anywhere on the televisions.  Being informed today on true matters of importance is not a passive discussion.  It takes effort from each of us.

What I am attempting to offer is not a finished product but rather to simply make a clear case (offer evidence) that each of us needs to elevate out thinking, roll up our sleeves, and L@@K at our world as it truly is.

Sailrat:  That is a well written update.  I have not heard much about Hakim until these last few weeks.  I hope he gets the job done.

BlueyesinLevis: I'm surprised. Hakim and Sadr have been very outspoken about their agenda of getting out from under Maliki. It is Hakim's Bloc.. the Citizen's Bloc that made huge gains in the Mid term elections last year.

They way he has banded tha opposition together is masterful. Excluding Allawi is also a good move.. Allawi and Maliki are peas from the same pod.

-If those mid term elections are any indication.. Maliki has not one prayer.

 HE WAS SCARED BECAUSE OF THE APPROACHING ELECTION FOR MANY FAMILY MEMBERS AND HE HAS SENT HIS WIFE & CHILDREN TO KUWAIT TO STAY WITH OTHER FAMILY TILL THE ELECTIONS ARE OVER.

 THEN FURTHER HE EXPLAINED THAT TWO SCENARIO'S CAN PLAY OUT AND AT PRESENT HE HAS NO IDEA WHICH WILL HAPPEN.

 HE THINKS AND HIS BROTHER ALSO THAT THEY COULD RELEASE THE RV AT ANYTIME

Hi Everyone,  
 
Today in my southern Bavaria village we are making the final preparations for our annual event called Maibaum or Maypole This event for us happens on weekend Mai 3-4 this year (always on weekend of Pentacost Sunday). I wish all of you fine dinarians could attend and meet all peoples of the village. We could sing and dance together then sit and talk long  about the good news  about the Iraq revaluation.

But we are so far away.....so I am making this news letter because I must come to you once again and explain some findings about this IQD and recent events.

- Interesting that May 1st is the start of the IMF's new fiscal year

- Interesting that April 30th is when the IMF updates the IQD's exchange rates, every single year (except for twice during September).

- Interesting that Kurdistan will start selling oil GLOBALLY starting May 2

- Interesting that the CBI hasn't updated the indicative rates since April 24 (last Thursday)

- Interesting that there have been NO auctions since April 26 (last Saturday)

- Interesting that April 30 will be elections in Iraq

- Interesting that Iraq announced that the budget will be passed right after the elections

Comment - the Iraqi elections have gotten off to a good start. Iraqi's living in countries outside of Iraq voted absentia yesterday. Election campaigning was halted last night by law so candidates can no longer advertise or campaign now until they vote.

Voting will start the morning of the 29th and will last until mid-night the same day which means as we sleep tonight the election is taking place.. If there is no shenanigans the vote is expected to go off orderly. IMO this will be a turning point for Iraq.
