Experience a true Cyclists' Weekend! Cycle the beautiful Olympic Peninsula on a unique Metric Century Plus ride. Starting in downtown Sequim, you will quickly leave the traffic behind and experience the pastoral rural roads of the Sequim Dungeness Valley as you cycle the world-loved lavender farms, head west on the Olympic Discovery Trail along the Port Angeles waterfront and discover the scenic new Elwha River Bridge before completing the loop back to Sequim.

For recreational riders, the Family Fun Ride among the Sequim lavender farms can be customized to meet the ability and endurance levels of all ages.

Regardless of which ride you select, you will experience a fantastic cycling experience. See the website for additional information.

Registration for the Metric Century Plus ride is from 7 a.m. to noon on Saturday, August 2, 2014. The registration fee includes a biking cap (first come, first served based on registration date), water bottle, and lavender gift. Want more? Challenge yourself on Sunday, August 3rd, by riding up Hurricane Ridge in the "Ride the Hurricane" event for a "Pedal Power Weekend." See the website for details.
