WPH New Projects and Partnerships for 2014-2015
 
comm consult Every year WPH is funded by the Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities to complete at least four core projects. 
 
In addition to our funders' requirements WPH also engages in many partnerships that benefit workforce development in our community.

This year our core projects include the Hire Learning/Employer One Survey; Skills Analysis of Hamilton's Economy (Phase 1 of 2); Apprenticeship Demand in Hamilton-Barriers to Training; and the Global Hamilton Conference. 
 
Additional projects will include a continuation of the Hamilton Immigrant Mentoring Partnership; a Hamilton Healthy Workplaces Event; Help Wanted Hamilton:Vacancy Reports; Connect to Careers Job Fair; and Advancing Women in Non-Traditional Occupations.

Manpower survey: Local employer outlook positive for later in 2014

Hamilton area employers expect a favourable hiring climate for the third quarter of 2014, according to the latest Manpower Employment Outlook Survey.
