Our monthly mixers host an average of 45-60 attendees who will be looking to discover where they should have their next company party, meet other business owners in the neighborhood, or just want to have some drinks after work.

Snow Removal

It's that time of year again! Our snow removal contracts with Christy Webber Landscaping and Cleanslate were put into effect on November 15.  They will "blaze a trail" on the 14 miles of sidewalk in WPB SSA #33 (see the map here) when we have more than 1" of snow. During snow events, please be patient; the crews can't be everywhere at once. Typically they start at the "L" stations and work their way out to the perimeter. 
 
The objective of the program is to facilitate movement throughout the SSA district.  But we still depend on everyone to do their part; businesses and property owners still need to clean up in front of their properties.
 
Blowing and melting snow can cause drifts and ice-- please make sure your sidewalks are free of ice and snow. 


WPB SSA #33 Monthly Commission Meeting
 
When: Wed., January 20th, 6:30-9pm
Where: Wicker Park Field House, 1425 N. Damen

The Commission of the WPB, Special Service Area of the Wicker Park Bucktown neighborhoods, meets every third Wednesday of each month at 7pm with a meet and greet beginning at 6:30pm. These meetings are always open to the public and everyone is encouraged to attend and participate.  For a full list of meeting dates, please check our website,  www.wickerparkbucktown.org .

 
Chamber Office Has Individual Graffiti Wipes

We have individual graffiti wipes available in the WPB Chamber of Commerce office for removal of tags and graffiti on glass or painted surfaces (smooth only).

  Please stop by 1414 N. Ashland to pick some up and help keep your neighborhood looking clean and friendly.

Take the mystery out of the Sidewalk Cafe Permit Application process by attending this informative workshop. We will explain the application process, inform you of all the requirements, and help you get prepared to submit an application. The entire application process may take 30 - 45 days, and the 2016 Sidewalk Cafe Season begins on March 1st, so make sure to reserve your seat now.

Send Your Event or Specials Info to the Chamber & Grab Your Member Decals

Friendly reminder to all our Chamber members that your window decals are available for pick up at our Chamber office at 1414 N Ashland Ave during office hours Monday-Friday from 9am-5pm. You may also contact us for special delivery of your decal. 

Also, if your business has events, specials or news you want to get out to the public then remember to send any and all information to our Marketing & Membership Coordinator and we would be happy to assist you in marketing it.

  Recycling Reminder

Beginning January 1st, 2016, all recyclables must be placed loose in the blue cart, without a bag. Recyclables contained in bags of any kind will no longer be accepted. 

Please reference this guide to brush up on what is and is not acceptable to put in your blue recycling cart.
